Why You Should Wear More Lipstick and How to Make It Look Great
Most women have a cosmetics routine that they use to start the day. You probably do and it probably involves using a bit of foundation to smooth out your skin and maybe add some colour, and then adding mascara, eyeliner and eye shadow to bring out your eyes. Now on a day to day basis for many women this is all they will use and things won't often get all that creative or colourful. This way you can keep it cheap and keep it quick, while at the same time making sure you don't look overdressed for work or like you're trying too hard.
However it can also sometimes look a little bland and if you want to shake things up a notch, adding some lipstick can be the perfect way to finish off your look. While a bold eye shadow might be one way to add colour, ultimately no one is going to see it as long as your eyes are open and there's only so adventurous you can go without looking silly. With a lipstick though you can keep it simple and professional looking, but at the same time make a big impact to your look that will make a statement.
Why Wear Lipstick?
There are plenty of reasons to wear a red or pink lipstick more regularly. The first is that it will make you look confident because it's bold and it draws attention to a very sensual area. This makes it the definition of power dressing and means that you'll be turning heads for all the right reasons - confidence is sexy.
At the same time if you want to get noticed by a guy you see regularly then wearing lipstick is a great way to draw their eye and to make them think of you in a different way. Lipstick makes men look at your lips, and a woman's lips are incredibly attractive and sensual. At the same time just a simple red will change your look so much that they will be forced to reassess the way they think about you.
Then there's the fact that lipstick makes the rest of your face look better - your lips look fuller, your eyes contrast more making the colour more vibrant, and your teeth will look much whiter next to your ruby pout. Finally, lipstick is great because it means your features will show up more from across the room, which means you can hold someone's attention even when you're not right next to them.
How to Make it Work
To make your lipstick work on a daily basis you need to first choose a tone that will suit your skin colour and your personality. Don't just go for firebox red - a deep maroon may be more striking, or a pink may suit your personality more. At the same time you should be willing to pay a bit more for your lipstick to make sure it stays on all day and has a great matte look (though you'll still need to check it regularly). Apply it carefully, and make sure to use a primer and lip liner to create a longer lasting and more perfect look.

Breast Augmentation: What You Should Know About
According to the 2010 report of American Society of Plastic Surgeons, breast augmentation remains to be the top cosmetic surgical procedure of 2009. In 2008, an estimated 307,000 cases of breast augmentation were filed and although there is a 6% decrease in 2009, this surgical procedure still remains on top of the list.
Breast augmentation, otherwise known as augmentation mammaplasty, is a surgical procedure performed to enlarge (or augment) breasts in order to achieve a fuller appearance. Others opt for this procedure for breast reconstruction purposes to restore breast volume which may have been lost due to mastectomy, trauma, congenital deformity or simply just to enhance the appearance and size of the breasts.
In order to augment breasts, implants are used. Implants are breast-shaped prosthesis and there are three types that are being used. The two more common types of implants are made of silicon covering and filled with either silicone gel or saline (salt water) solution. The third type of implant on the other hand, is called alternative-composition implants. These implants are stuffed with diverse or homogeneous materials; however, this type of implant is not available in the market anymore.
Typically, the procedure is done on an out-patient basis which usually takes two hours. The process starts with administering anesthesia which can either be under local or general anesthesia. Incision is then made around the areola, in the armpit or under the breast, depending on the type and size of the implant. The method by which the prosthesis is inserted also depends on the said conditions and after which, the incision will be closed when the implants are placed on the implant pockets as indicated. After the procedure, incision scars are expected to heal with just 6 weeks after and will disappear months after the implantation procedure.
As with any surgery, breast augmentation surgery has associated risks which include bleeding, infection, unfavourable scarring or fluid accumulation. Other risks associated with the surgery may be related to the implant itself such as obstructed mammography or capsular contracture, where a firm scar forms around the implant. And although most mortality cases are associated with anesthesia or medication errors, death associated with breast augmentation are extremely rare. Another important consideration that women should take note is that there are no lifetime guarantees with breast implants. And so before going into the procedure, women should weigh the pros and cons and decide, "Are you a good candidate for breast augmentation?"

Why Cosmetic Surgery Should Be Your Very Last Resort
If you're getting older and don't like the changes that age has made to your skin, you might be wondering whether it's time to get a facelift, eyelid surgery or jaw lift. These cosmetic procedures are fairly popular and can be tempting. However, they also come with a host of problems, including cost, potential side effects and complications, pain, recovery time and many more. While cosmetic surgery may be the only thing that can help some people look younger, most people have other options. Here's why you should look at diet, lifestyle changes, supplements and many other anti-aging treatments before you go under the knife.
Cost
Unless you've been in an accident or have suffered disfigurement as the result of a disease or other medical problem, your insurance probably won't pay for your cosmetic surgery. That means you'll be stuck covering the cost of the surgery and any other related expenses out of pocket. Anti-aging procedures aren't cheap, either. The average cost of a facelift in 2011, according to the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, was $6,408. That number does not cover consultations, preparation appointments or the cost of any necessary revisions.
For a blepharoplasty, or removal of excess eyelid skin, you can expect to pay about $2,600, while a forehead lift costs about $3,100 on average. Lip augmentation comes with a fee of $1,827 on average, while an arm lift costs $3,790. For these fees, you can purchase significantly more non-surgical cosmetic intervention, as well as numerous gym memberships, skin protection products and moisturizers.
Complications
Like any surgical procedure, cosmetic surgery comes with a risk of complications. These can include swelling, discoloration, bruising, blood clots and bleeding, infection and dying skin. The area may not look the way you wanted it to; your surgery may produce unattractive scarring, divots, puckers, dimples and other irregularities in the skin. In some cases, you may partially or completely lose your sense of touch in the area where the surgery was performed. Temporary paralysis due to painkillers and anesthesia may occur shortly after surgery.
Specific anti-aging surgeries all come with their own risks. For instance, eyelid surgery may cause a tight feeling around the eyelids, as well as itching, numbness or burning sensations. You may tear up easily, feel like your eyes are very sensitive to light or suffer from blurred or double vision. These problems usually go away; but blepharoplasty does carry a very small risk of blindness.
Facelifts can produce bruising, numbness, dry skin and tenderness shortly after the procedure. Men can often have difficulty shaving and may find that some skin that previously produced beard hair is now located behind their ears, creating the need to shave this unusual location. Potential long-term complications include loss of the ability to feel or control your facial muscles. Some people suffer from nerve damage, while other people develop an asymmetrical hairline after this kind of procedure.
Pain
Since most anti-aging plastic surgery procedures are performed on sensitive areas of the body, such as the face, pain can be a major problem. While you will be under general anesthesia during the surgery, you may experience extreme discomfort after this wears off. For a facelift, you can expect swelling and pain starting the day after the surgery, and may need to take prescription painkillers for a week or two, followed by over the counter painkillers for several weeks. Smaller surgeries, such as blepharoplasty, can be almost as painful as large ones, since they are performed on delicate skin. In some rare cases, patients experience long-term pain, with some people suffering from pain for up to a year after a facelift.
Safety
Cosmetic surgery is relatively safe, but not completely so. If you decide to undergo an elective surgical procedure, you're putting your life on the line. Some people who are placed under general anesthesia simply don't wake up afterward. It's also possible to experience airway obstruction from anesthesia, which can produce brain damage or death if not treated right away. If blockage of the airway occurs, the anesthesiologist may have to cut into your throat or insert a tube to ensure that you continue breathing.
Patients who experience blood clots during or after surgery are also at significant risk. The blood clots can come loose and block a vein or artery, potentially causing a stroke or heart attack. Some people experience sudden drops in blood pressure that can cause heart irregularities and cardiac arrest. Untreated infections after surgery can become severe and dangerous in some cases, making it a good idea to consider all other options before you choose cosmetic surgery to help you look younger.
Recovery
Plastic surgery can be a big time commitment. Having these types of procedure done can take you out of work for weeks at a time and confine you to your bed for days. During the recovery process, you can expect swelling, bruising, numbness and other temporary side effects. It may be difficult to engage in normal activities during the recovery process.
Contraindications
Even though cosmetic surgery is relatively safe for most people, it's not a viable option for everyone. You can't use plastic surgery to look younger if you are a heavy smoker or someone who has high blood pressure. You may also be considered a poor candidate if you are extremely obese, due to the increased risk of death under anesthesia.
Cosmetic surgery is also contraindicated for people who have poorly treated or untreated diabetes, some people with allergies, and patients who have some pre-existing mental conditions. Many medications are also considered risky during surgery and may need to be discontinued before you can have this kind of procedure.
Alternatives
Fortunately, cosmetic surgery isn't the only option for people who would like to look younger. There are many different alternatives, some of them inexpensive and natural, which can produce modest anti-aging effects. They can even boost your overall health. It's usually a good idea to try at least some of these alternatives to surgery before you decide to consult with a doctor.
One of the easiest options includes improving your lifestyle. Simply by taking the time to get enough sleep, eat a balanced diet and increase your intake of water, you could reduce or even eliminate some fine lines and wrinkles. Other factors that you might need to address include drinking, smoking and stress, all of which can make you look much older and more tired. You can even help avoid wrinkles and other signs of aging by protecting your skin from the damaging rays of the sun.
Other natural options for people who want to avoid plastic surgery while taking off a few years include vitamin and anti-oxidant supplements, regular use of moisturizers and exfoliants, and anti-aging products containing retinol and other vitamin A derivatives. For some people who have pre-existing conditions, hormone treatment may be helpful, but this kind of anti-aging treatment can be dangerous if taken without a doctor's supervision.
No one should feel as though plastic surgery is the only option when it comes to looking younger. There are many reasons to make this kind of extreme procedure your last choice. Take a little time to check out your other options and find the best anti-aging treatment for your situation before you call the surgeon.

Why You Should Use An Organic Hair Product?
Many great reasons sit behind why people choose to use natural hair care products but the primary driving force is that regular shampoos contain harsh chemicals that can cause a number of problems.
Don't be fooled by the foam and nice smell as these chemicals are added at the cost of you and your families health.
Skin Irritation, hair loss, dermatitis and other disagreeable reactions are common and all very unpleasant.
Simply put, traditional shampoos and conditioners can lead to the onset of serious illnesses such as cancer.
As such it makes sense to find a healthier, natural alternative to these brands like the Locsuria hair care range.
The Locsuria hair care range has a lovely mixture of beneficial herbs such as lemongrass, rosemary and peppermint that softly purifies your hair.
The natural treatment will help restore and improve your dry damaged hair and provide body and shine.
The Benefits of Using Peppermint
For years peppermint tea has been used to treat minor medical ailments but little has been written about the benefits peppermint offers your hair.
This amazes me as peppermint is a core ingredient in many natural hair treatments.
When applied to the scalp peppermint oil has a cool, prickling sensation. This odd feeling is the oil balancing the PH levels of your scalp.
This means Peppermint oil eliminates oily, greasy hair and is also helpful if you suffer from the opposite. As it works on normalizing PH qualities it can also be used to treat dandruff or a dry scalp.
Last but certainly not least, Peppermint mixed with another oil is an effective hair moisturizer. Simply leave in to allow for the oil to penetrate your hair and wash out.
Consider using Locsurias' Purifying Shampoo. I find the peppermint and other healthy natural ingredients leaves my hair smelling good and looking great!
And the next time you're under the weather consider a cup of peppermint tea to help get you back to health.
The Gift of Rosemary
Rosemarinus officinalis has been used for centuries as a traditional way to enhance memory and stimulate hair growth.
Found in Locsurias hair care range Rosemary makes your hair smell delightful and look great.
Use Locsurias conditioner as a hair rinse to help combat dandruff or for a total treatment use Locsurias Hair Tonic containing both lemongrass and rosemary to promote hair growth. Useful when hair loss has occurred due to stress.
Remember, you have a valid option to off the shelf products that contain harmful chemicals like Sodium Lauryl and tar that damage your hair.
