Cellulite on Thighs

The thing about exercising to get rid of cellulite is that you can either generalize it (work on all areas together using specific routines) or you can focus on sculpting the one area you may have problems with. A majority of women complain about the cellulite on thighs. So, it's only logical that you have information on how to get rid of this kind of cellulite. You will be surprised at how far from complicated this is. Let's get to it:

1. Do Not Be Stagnant.

You have to be doing something with your body throughout the day. If you're at work, get up and walk up the stairs. If you're at home, vacuum the house or do a bit of exercise now and then. Just make sure that you are not sitting still for more than an hour. When you get your body moving you increase your blood circulation and pump up your metabolism. Cellulite on thighs is greatly reduced by this, and anywhere else for that matter.

2. Drink Lots of Water

Water cleans. That is what it does everywhere including inside your body. When toxins are accumulating in your body, and you drink water, it washes them away. Make sure you consume at least 2 Liter of water daily if not more. If you're planning on getting rid of cellulite on thighs or anywhere else, you can't drink enough water. So drink up.

3. Take More Slow And Deep Breaths

When tension builds up in your body, it struggles to function. When your body struggles to function, you will have many health issues including excess toxins. This could all be cured by a series of the cheapest medicine; breathing slowly and deeply. When you do, what happens is that your metabolism increases and so do your energy levels. Do it as often as you can remember to.

4. Choose What You Eat Wisely

If you asked what causes cellulite anywhere, the first answer would be a bad diet. As mentioned more than once, cellulite is basically accumulated toxins. The toxins come from all the toxic food out there. You can check my related articles to research on what foods cause these toxins and adopt a healthier diet.

5. Work-Out For Specific Areas

For instance, cellulite on thighs can be reduced by doing generalized routines, though it would not be as effective as working on your thighs specifically. You do not even have to be feeling the burn for 45 minutes straight for you to see results. All you have to do is workout intensely for as little as five minutes, and you're set.

6. Find Your Peace Zone

Do not over work or worry or even skip your rest time. Release all the tension in your body by doing something relaxing both mentally and physically. You could do anything from yoga to painting. Whatever works for you. Most importantly, learn to stay relaxed or at peace.

With those few things, you could easily get rid of cellulite on thighs and anywhere else.

Menopause and Cellulite - Growing Older And Fatter Need Not Be A Necessity

Weight gain has been and perhaps will always be a major concern from women, independent of their age group, nationality, geographical location or medical condition. No woman wants to sport fat or that extra deposition of cellulite. Cellulite is nothing more than a fat deposit visible under the layer of the skin. Across age groups, women battle with this concern with a range of weapons ranging from medical therapies to diet controls. Especially menopause and cellulite is seen as something synonymous.

The problem of cellulite deposits becomes more pressing with the advance of age. Scientifically speaking, as a woman grows older the level of metabolic activity in her body also reduces. This means that as you grow older you need to exercise more than you did earlier to burn the same amount of calories. The body starts storing more fat and that little extra butter and cheese begins to show more prominently.

Dealing with cellulite post menopause

How then does one deal with extra cellulite post menopause? Menopause causes hormonal changes which reduce the metabolism in a female body even further. Women suddenly notice an abnormal weight gain post menopause. Fat which was not visible earlier now clearly shows on the thighs, hips and waist. Since no woman can avoid menopause, does this also mean that there is no cure for the increasing cellulite deposit in the body?

A little awareness could help you a long way. The preparations to deal with a post menopause life begin early. Researches and studies prove that exercise and diet control are perhaps the best and natural ways to keep the body fit despite the many changes. Women who are used to exercising or yoga have proven to have a more comfortable and physically fit life even post menopause.

The handicap of the female body to burn fat post menopause increases the risk of a heart attack. Cellulite deposits post-menopause thicken the walls of the artery increasing the chances of a cardiac arrest. Hence, it is extremely advisable to train your body for a physically and mentally active lifestyle from now onwards.

The benefits of yoga

Yoga has long since been established as perhaps the most effective and healthiest way to a fit body. What few women know and have embraced is that Yoga can help you stay fit and young even post menopause. Menopause essentially disturbs the secretion of the hormone estrogen. Estrogen is responsible for keeping the skin taut and young. A lack of estrogen is what causes the skin to sag and enhances the signs of aging in a woman. Regular yoga and meditation facilitates a better blood circulation causing the body to stay younger for longer.

The increased blood circulation not only ensures that the skin remains firm for longer, but also prevents cellulite deposits along the arteries reducing the risk of a heart attack. Studies in the UK have shown that women who have practiced yoga since their mid-thirties have been affected to a lesser degree by the onset of menopause. Not only are their bodies healthy and almost devoid of cellulite deposits, they are also better able to adjust to the hormonal changes brought about by a menopause.

Yoga therapists and consultants have specialized programs for weight loss after menopause. Their yoga regimes are designed to target areas more prone to cellulite deposits thus preventing an excess show of fat.

Menopause and the correct diet

Teaming your yoga routine with a diet that cuts down your calorie intake is an excellent way to stay fit. Growing old does not mean you have to give up on all the pleasures of life. It however does mean that you have to accept that chocolates and sweets high on calories are going to show. Unless of course you intend to spend the next week exercising from morning to night, food rich in calories is going to be difficult to burn.

Choose a diet that pleases you while takes care of the number of calories you consume. A healthy diet and a healthy exercise routine will reduce the number of complaints you have post menopause to almost none. While cellulite may be an ugly fat that women have to deal with post menopause, menopause and cellulite does not have to be accepted as a part of your life. With a little bit of exercise and a little bit of control you can stay healthy and fit.
